Ben graduated from the University of Otago in 1995 with his BDS. He worked in Napier in the hospital, followed by Accident and Emergency Dental Centres in Auckland, and then a couple of years working in the UK. Upon his return to New Zealand he joined a group practice on the terrace where he practices today. He enjoys general dental practice for its variety and challenges.

Denise graduated as a Hygienist from Glasgow Dental Hospital in 1997. She has since worked in private practice and also at Eastman's Dental Hospital in London. In 2004 she moved to Wellington and joined our practice. She enjoys promoting health to groups and local businesses, and attending conferences, in order to provide the best care and prevention of periodontal diseases to all our patients.
Christine Rolfe, Receptionist/Manager
Christine has 20 years of dentistry experience in Wellington and the Kapiti Coast behind her. She was originally a dental assistant, and is now the key figure when it comes to arranging appointments and scheduling regular check-ups at Ben Catherwood Dental Practice.
Amber Christensen, Dental Assistant
Amber had extensive experience working in Wellington and London as an assistant, before joining Ben's practice in 2008. She enjoys the variety of people she gets to meet as a dental assistant, and considers helping patients feel comfortable very important.
